What is the ELC?
The Engineering Leadership Council is the College of Engineering’s source of financial and technical assistance to engineering clubs.
Where do I find out about upcoming events and meetings?
There is an up to date calendar of events on the main page of the ELC website. Meetings will be in HREL 109/110 unless otherwise noted.
When does a club apply for funding from the ELC?
The ELC has two funding periods each school year, Fall and Spring. Dates for funding applications and hearings are on the calendar.
How much money can a club get from the ELC?
The ELC is still in the process of calculating the amount of funding available to each club this year. Final numbers will be available at the General Assembly Meeting on 31 August 2018.
Are clubs required to raise funds outside of the ELC?
Clubs are strongly encouraged to seek other sources of funding such as sponsorships, fundraising, and other campus resources.
How does my club request fringe money?

Is attendance at meetings mandatory?
In order to receive funding a club must attend all General Assembly meetings and outreach events. Attendance at funding hearings is not required but highly encouraged. Requests for excused absences must be sent to nevadaelc@googlegroups.com at least 24 hours in advance.
Who has to attend meetings?
Only one club member who is familiar with the operations of the club is required to attend.
